Your First Visit at Robertson Family Dentistry

On your first appointment at Robertson Family Dentistry, we want to get to know you as a person while getting an idea of your current and existing dental health.  Depending on your initial exam, we may opt to take x-rays and perform other pain-free tests to give us the best possible results in order to provide professional feedback that is based on the facts rather than just another opinion.

Regarding your dental health, it is vital that you inform us of all and any medical condition that may be of concern in the case that we perform procedures today or in the future.  This includes but is not limited to diabetes, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, high blood pressure, and other medical conditions.  It is also important that we know if you are on any medications such as heart medications, antibiotics, aspirin, etc. before we perform dental cleanings and procedures.

Upon evaluation, Dr. Robertson or Dr. Hoover will meet with you and explain your current dental health while discussing options on what is next for you.  There may be times that treatment is administered on the day of your first visit, but otherwise you may require a follow-up appointment or perhaps be at a good dental health standing requiring no further appointments until your next check-up.
